If you're trying to decide between the 2020 Subaru Crosstrek and the 2020 Subaru Forester, we are here to help. Both of these capable vehicles have a lot to offer, and they're certainly favorites here at Heritage Subaru of Owings Mills. So, what's the difference?

First, let's point out what they have in common. The 2020 Subaru Crosstrek and the 2020 Subaru Forester both come standard with Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, meaning that both vehicles can seamlessly handler rougher terrain. They also offer similar features, but what's standard and what's an available option can vary based on vehicle.

The 2020 Subaru Forester comes equipped with standard EyeSight® Driver Assist Technology, along with safety tech like adaptive cruise control and lane keep assist. These are available as upgrades on the 2020 Subaru Crosstrek. The 2020 Subaru Forester also offers DriverFocus™ Distraction Mitigation, which can tell if you're getting distracted while you're behind the wheel. This isn't available in the 2020 Subaru Crosstrek.

The 2020 Subaru Crosstrek offers 100.9 cubic feet of passenger space and 20.8 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats, but the 2020 Subaru Forester is even more spacious, as it's a larger vehicle. You get an extra 11 cubic feet of passenger room and 35.4 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats. You can also take advantage of roof rails to carry more cargo on either model; they are standard on the 2020 Subaru Crosstrek and an available upgrade on the 2020 Subaru Forester.
