Outback, Outback Premium, and Outback Limited
The base trim of the 2022 Subaru Outback is simply known as the Outback. It includes these key features that are also found in all higher trim levels as well:
- Symmetrical All-Wheel-Drive with X-MODE®
- Standard EyeSight® Driver Assist technology
- LED steering responsive headlights
- Subaru STARLINK Multimedia with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™
- 8.7 inches of ground clearance
- Raised roof rails with integrated cross bars and tie-down points
Next up is the Outback Premium, which adds:
- SUBARU STARLINK 11.6-inch Multimedia Plus
- SUBARU STARLINK Safety and Security
- 10-way power driver’s seat
- All-Weather Package with heated front seats
The Outback Limited adds features to the cabin, such as:
- Leather-trimmed upholstery
- 12-speaker Harman Kardon premium audio system
- 18-inch alloy wheels
- Keyless Access with Push-Button Start
Outback Touring, Outback Onyx Edition XT, and Outback Wilderness
Next up is the Outback Touring Subaru SUV, which adds:
- Nappa leather-trimmed upholstery
- Multimedia Navigation
- Power moonroof
- Heated steering wheel
One exciting new trim level for the 2022 model year is the Wilderness. It adds a 260-horsepower direct-injection turbocharged SUBARU BOXER® engine, as well as 17-inch matte black-finish wheels and Yokohama GEOLANDAR® all-terrain tires.
