Your new Subaru SUV is an exciting adventure vehicle that can help you explore further and make lasting memories with the whole family. But did you also know that it contributes to a good cause? This month, Subaru is contributing to animal-centric organizations that make the difference — and it all starts with you. Learn how you can be part of the Subaru Loves Pets® program when you visit Heritage Subaru Owings Mills.
What is the Subaru Loves Pets® Program?
Through the Subaru Loves Pets® program, Subaru and Subaru drivers have been supporting the ASPCA since 2008 and BARK since 2016. With ASPCA support alone, Subaru has helped to rescue, transport, and adopt nearly 250,000 animals across America, and is proud to hold the title as the largest corporate donor to the ASPCA. Joining in is easy. Through October, Subaru dealerships will provide opportunities for adoption events, microchipping, and donations. When you order an Animals badge for your Subaru vehicle, the company donates $1, up to $5,000 in the month, and when you purchase pet accessories through Subaru, the company will donate $30, up to $10,000.
Coming Next: the Subaru Share the Love® Event
Of course, November’s not far off, either, which means it’s as good a time as any to mention the Subaru Share the Love® Event. This is Subaru’s way of giving back to the community that makes their success possible. It embodies five core pillars: Environment, Health, Education, Pets, and Community, and creates comprehensive efforts and opportunities to engage with and support non-profit organizations doing remarkable work across the categories. Under each category, there are a few organizations that Subaru partners with to collect donations, host events, and bring awareness to important issues. Ask your dealer for details.
